SK Telecom (NYSE: SKM, hereinafter referred to as “SKT”) announced that it will participate in Korea’s largest ICT exhibition, the World IT Show (WIS) 2026, to be held at COEX in Seoul from April 22 to 24, and present a blueprint for the future of AI in Korea.
Under the concept of “All about AI,” SKT will operate an 864 m² booth and showcase the full spectrum of AI—from infrastructure to models and services. Organized into five zones—Network AI, AI Data Center (DC) Solutions, AI Model, Agent AI, and Physical AI—the SKT booth covers the entire AI value chain while inviting visitors to engage in hands-on experiences.
SKT will showcase next-generation infrastructure that will underpin the AI era. In the Network AI zone, the company will introduce next-generation network technologies such as AI-RAN and AI agents for networks, showcasing how telecommunications infrastructure is evolving from simple connectivity into the foundation of intelligent services.
In the AI DC Solutions zone, SKT will present AI DC capabilities and its vision for next generation data center platforms and solutions. Through sovereign AI GPUaaS (Haein), the AI DC Infrastructure Manager, and the AI Inference Factory, the company aims to set the direction for sovereign AI infrastructure.
In the AI Model zone, SKT will introduce its LLM “A.X” and “A.X K1,” Korea’s first 500B-class ultra-large AI model, A.X K1, which has advanced to Phase 2 of Korea’s Sovereign AI Foundation Model Project. SKT plans to present on-site demonstrations of real-world use cases that highlight the value of national AI security and technological self-reliance.
In the Agent AI zone, visitors can experience how AI is applied across various aspects of daily life, including communications, work, and driving. The company will showcase AI agent services such as A.call, A.note, and A.auto, demonstrating AI optimized for everyday living.
The Physical AI zone will feature Digital Twin Platform and Robot Training Platform that show how AI trained in virtual environments operates in the real world, highlighting the evolution from “thinking” to “acting” AI.
In addition, SKT will operate separate experiential spaces within the booth—Vision Cinema and Full-Stack Yard. Visitors can immerse themselves in the AI future envisioned by SKT through large-screen visuals and enjoy a variety of events to learn about full-stack AI in an engaging way.
“At this year’s World IT Show, visitors will be able to experience firsthand SKT’s full-stack AI capabilities,” said Kwon Young-sang, Head of Communications Support Office at SK Telecom. “We hope the event will be a meaningful opportunity for all visitors to see AI turn ideas into real‑world impact.”
